Qatar Ice Show

Qatar Telecom via thier agency Adabisc commissioned Artaaj Events to develop and execute a customized Ice show that was performed at the Villaggio Mall in Doha, Qatar on 21st April, 2008.

The show that was developed was an integral thematic story, that came out of the client’s request to express that the service is customer-centric and based on “Your“ needs. The telecom service provider had to be highlighted as the hero of the show by emphasising that any problems, wishes and dreams come true and are solved through dialogue with the telecom service provider.

The solution for all needs is offered by the “Figure“ – the customer service provider. All characters were excited and began their individual dance displays on ice.

The skaters performed their routines expressing their story. In the finale, all skaters along with the “Figure“ skated to the a customized track that included the company jingle, name and motto. 6 professional skaters displayed various choreograpies for a period of 15 minutes. Panasonic - Dealer Meet

Panasonic, the Japanese electronics giant held a regional meeting in Dubai for their dealers from across Middle East & North Africa. Artaaj Events was commissioned to provide a turn-key solution for the event.
Hostesses welcomed the 175 guests to the pre-function area where they were greeted with a welcome drink. Guests were then ushered into the ballroom where they were surprised to see a large 10m x 3m screen for the presentation instead of the regular smaller screens. The ballroom glowed with spot lights which constantly changed the ambient color from blue to green and the different gobo patterns that gave a classy effect to the room.

A Master of Ceremonies introduced the various speakers and the entertainment for the evening. Entertainment that was proposed was special European dance choreographies. The highlight of the evening was the illusionist performance where she kept audiences guessing with her astonishing feats.
A ‘signing of the commitment board’ event was planned towards the end of the evening. The Managing Director opened the ceremony with a toast. Hostesses carried the boards on stage for the Panasonic management and the dealers to sign.

The evening finished off with dinner and a Belly dance performance.
The client was thrilled at the success of the event and confirmed that the success lay in the detailed planning of the teams. The event team prepared a detailed operations plan, a MC script and a director’s script which included a detailed sound and light plan for the event.
A resounding thank you to all the team!

It was the first time that IAMOT has been hosted in the Middle East and the expectations were high all round. Together Artaaj and BUiD worked closely on building the image of the event, finding the delegates, contacting potential sponsors and designing an overall event which would impress the visiting delegation and be a show piece for the British University in Dubai.

Artaaj designed all the collateral elements of the conference from branding at the convention centre to the stage for the gala dinner, providing a backdrop where a number of key personalities were welcomed to receive their awards in the different categories.

The end result was successful conference with over 400 attendees, many who were international participants getting their first taste of Dubai.
